The Moreau Center is excited to announce that Tyler Hashimori Wagner will be joining the team in early July as the Program Manager for Immersions. In this new position, Tyler will be responsible for managing the social justice immersions offered during the academic breaks and guiding our student coordinators to lead their peers in these transformative experiences.
Tyler called Eugene, OR home before heading to Indiana and the University of Notre Dame to earn his undergraduate degree in Environmental Sciences. He returned to the Pacific Northwest to serve with Jesuit Volunteer Corps Northwest at Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon as their Food Justice Coordinator and most recently worked with St. Ignatius Parish supporting youth and parish engagement around social and ecological justice. Tyler brings a solid foundation in Catholic Social Teaching, lived experience in the core values of the Moreau Center, and a passion for working with student leaders to our shared work. Please join us in welcoming Tyler to the Bluff!
