November is Native American Heritage Month! The Native American Alliance, Ethnic Studies Program, and Diversity and Inclusion Programs will be partnering up to bring our UP community an intentional event on Decolonization. This event will be in the Diversity Center (BC 102) from 5:30 p.m.–6:30 p.m. on November 16.
At this presentation and panel discussion, the following topics and issues will be discussed and unpacked:
- Indigenous Joy
- Reclaiming the Meaning of Decolonization
- The Land Back Movement & Indigenous Peoples Experience in Higher Education from an Ethnic Studies Lens
