The University will honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. starting Monday, January 21 with “Dream UP: Six Weeks of Service,” according to Bethany Sills, student activities. This federal holiday is traditionally observed as a national day of service. Many volunteer opportunities for students, staff, and faculty will be available during the first six weeks of school to honor Dr. King. During the day, opportunities to sign-up for community service will be available in the Bauccio Commons from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Also, enjoy a DJ spinning tunes, free MLK Day items, and more.
