In partnership with the American Cancer Society, UP will host the “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” walkathon on October 20 starting at 9 a.m. Making Strides of Oregon and SW Washington is the premier breast cancer walk in the area.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is the nation’s largest and most impactful breast cancer movement working tirelessly to end breast cancer as we know it. In the last 30 years alone, ACS has invested more than $600 million in breast cancer research and over $5 billion in research for all cancer types since 1946.
