Join the Conversation: “Invisible Suffering: The Air We Share,” Feb. 6

clean-dirty-air-dt-150-copy Please Join College of Arts and Sciences faculty and regional representatives for an interdisciplinary conversation on the topic of “Invisible Suffering: The Air We Share,” on Monday, February 6, 7 to 8:30 p.m., in the Pilot House bookstore. All are welcome to attend.

Presenters include College of Arts and Sciences dean Michael F. Andrews; Ted Eckmann, environmental studies; Mary Peveto, president of Neighbors for Clean Air; Alan Sprott, vice president of Vigor Industrial; and Norah Martin, philosophy. The conversation will feature:

 Vised from the perspectives of liberal arts, ethics, and environmental justice
 Short presentations to introduce main themes
 Student-led Q&A and open discussion’

Refreshment will be served following the event. Sponsored by the McNerney-Hanson Endowed Chair in Ethics.

The session briefly highlighted some of the innovations concerning the use of AI in leadership coaching, practice/training, and coaching ongoing developmental growth. October, 2024. Dave Houglum, Director of Leadership Studies and Leadership Professor of Practice, Franz Center for Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation, presented nine, one-hour invited leadership presentations for the European Leadership Programme in Brussels, Belgium. Houglum also provided individual leadership coaching sessions to many of the programme’s Fellows and to the staff of the Jesuit European Social Center (JESC). The European Leadership Programme draws emerging leaders from across Europe to participate in a five-month leadership development programme. October 12-16, 2024.
