Interested in learning more about the Mellon-funded Civic Humanities Incubator and the mini-grants open to all faculty? Join the Engaged Humanities program for lunch in the Teske Room on Monday, Oct. 27, at 12 p.m., where we’ll answer questions about the mini-grant program and share more about the longer-term goals of the Incubator.
We will have more opportunities for faculty in future semesters – from joining the Civic Humanities working group (a stipend-funded position), to participating in course development institutes (also stipend-funded), to developing multi-generational “Neighborhood Humanities” courses to be rolled out in future years – so if you’re curious about any of these, joining this lunch is a great first step.
Please email Molly Hiro (hiro@up.edu) to reserve your spot by Oct. 22—space is limited.
Faculty from all departments (not just from the humanities!), academic units, and ranks are welcome.
