
Full-time faculty, instructors, lecturers, and librarians (at assistant, associate, and senior ranks) are eligible to apply for Fall Butines to support conference travel or projects. All applicants must have an appointment for next year to be eligible.
If you plan to apply for a Fall 2025 Butine grant, please take note of the following deadlines and informational session information below.
- Oct. 1: Deadline for interim or completed Post-Butine Reports for grants awarded in Fall 2024 or Spring 2025, due to Teaching and Scholarship via Moodle.
- Oct. 10 (the Friday immediately before Fall break): Deadline to submit your completed Butine application to Teaching and Scholarship via your “Butine Grants” Moodle page and to your department chair and/or Dean.
- Oct. 17: Deadline for CAS Chairs to submit Butine Review form to Dean and TAS Chair.
- Oct. 24: Deadline for Deans to submit letters to TAS Chair.
A Butine informational session to provide tips and insights on ‘best practices’ for Butine grant submissions is planned (date/time TBD).
