The first meeting of the Faith and Intellectual Life Discussion Group for the 2014-2015 academic year will be on Friday, November 7, at 3:30 p.m., in the Murphy Room in Franz Hall. The group will discuss Chapter 3 from Susan Cain’s book Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World that Can’t Stop Talking. The chapter is entitled “When Collaboration Kills Creativity: The Rise of the New Groupthink and the Power of Working Alone.” The reading is posted on the Garaventa Center website at https://wordpress.up.edu/garaventa/fildg/.
