Information Services will be disabling Basic Authentication as a method of accessing email and other Office 365 services. If you are using a current Outlook client (2016 or later) or Mail for iOS client (11.3.1 or later), then you should already be using the newer secure authentication method. If you are using an older mail client or a client that does not support Modern Authentication, your email may become inaccessible until you switch to a new client. Contact the help desk if you need assistance with switching to a newer client. This change will take place from June 13 to mid-July.
