The State of Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) requires the University to participate in the Employee Commute Options (ECO) program. The University is required to provide commute options to employees designed to reduce the number of cars driven to work in Portland and surrounding areas. To plan for this, we must survey all full-time university employees to demonstrate our progress towards a 10% commute trip reduction goal. Our results will be compared to the last time this survey was sent in Spring of 2022.
DEQ requires a 75% response rate for compliance. This means we need almost 600 of you to respond.
