The SURE program, and the types of scholarly projects funded, allow students to participate in “high impact/engaged learning experiences,” while faculty further their own research collaboratively and meaningfully with student partners.
Applications for CAS students to participate in the SURE 2023 program will be available on the SURE Student Applications Moodle page, opening January 23 and closing Feb 3. An announcement and instructions for how to apply will be sent out to all CAS students.
In addition, CAS SURE provides institutional matching funds for undergraduate research students on some external foundation and federal grants awarded to UP faculty. The faculty with these types of grants include:
