UPDATE: The Committee on Committees is happy to report that approximately 65% of faculty have already filled out the Annual Service Survey for 2024-2025. Way to go, faculty!
The Committee on Committees is asking all faculty to fill out the survey, even if they are planning to serve in a leadership or administrative role (e.g., department chair, associate dean), wish to continue to serve in their current capacity on an Academic Senate Committee, and/or are on sabbatical for part or all of the 2024-2025 academic year.
The Committee on Committees would like to hear from all faculty regarding their interest and preferences for committee assignments for the 2024-2025 academic year. It is important that everyone completes this short survey to let the Committee know their service history, service interests for next year, as well as availability across a variety of service opportunities. (Faculty who do not complete the survey are assumed to be available for assignment in any role on any committee in 2024-2025.)
The faculty survey is being distributed now so that the Committee on Committees can meet in February 2024 to make appointments and notify the faculty of their appointments before the end of spring semester (likely before spring break).
