As Commencement weekend nears, the Provost’s Office has provided important information for faculty and staff as the UP community prepares for this important academic event. All are invited to visit the commencement website to access comprehensive information about the event, including schedules, regalia ordering information, FAQs, and more.Schedule highlights include:
Saturday, May 5:
- Nurses’ Pinning Ceremony – 12:30 p.m.
- University ROTC Ceremony – 2:30 p.m.
- Baccalaureate Mass and Reception – 5 p.m.
Sunday, May 6, 2018:
- Commencement I – 10 a.m.
College of Arts and Sciences and School of Education - Family Luncheon – 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
- Commencement II – 3 p.m.
Pamplin School of Business, Shiley School of Engineering, and School of Nursing
Academic regalia for faculty and staff may be ordered online now through Jostens. Complete master’s regalia costs $56; masters hood only is $21 (estimated). Complete doctorate regalia costs $63; doctoral hood only is $24 (estimated). The last day to order regalia, without incurring a $15 late-order fee, is Wednesday, March 21, 2018.
