Dhara graduated from American University in Washington, DC, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Foreign Language (French Language & Cultural Studies) and Communications Media (Film & Media Arts).

A New Imagination on Migration with Fr. Daniel Groody C.S.C. (Jun. 12)
Campus Ministry, in association with Catholic Charities, will host Fr. Daniel Groody who will discuss the subject of migration along with his most recent book, “A Theology of Migration: The Bodies of Refugees and the Body of Christ.” Rev. Groody’s insightful perspective on the narrative of migrants and human rights is grounded in decades of world travel and ministry, along with his service on the U.S. Catholic bishops’ committee on migration. Faculty members are reminded to load their scholarly activity on the portal in PilotsUP by May 31 each year. Faculty members use their school’s report on the home tab of the Scholarly Activity Portal to send the data to their respective deans as a part of annual self-evaluation. (Read More).

Now Recruiting Faculty: NEH Grant for Ethics and AI
Building on several successful College of Arts and Sciences initiatives that bring together Ethics and Artificial Intelligence in conversation, CAS is now planning an application for a National Endowment for the Humanities funding opportunity, which would fund the creation of a Humanities Research Center on Artificial Intelligence. We are currently recruiting all interested faculty (Humanities, Social Sciences and beyond) to join a planning committee that will develop this grant. (Read More).
