The Public Research Fellows program invites UP faculty, staff, and students to participate in our ongoing project “College after COVID: Archiving the Present to Envision UP’s Futures.” Our interdisciplinary working group aims to collect and archive stories and experiences of UP community members at this singular moment in the university’s history. Consider adding your voice to our project in one of these ways:
- Interview a friend or colleague. In the interest of capturing as many campus voices as possible, we’re encouraging staff and faculty to conduct short video “community interviews.” Check out our easy tool for questions and instructions on how to submit.
- Participate in a campus conversation. Early in spring semester, we’ll convene mixed groups of students, staff, and faculty for two moderated conversations about the challenges and opportunities of returning to in-person campus life. The dates/times are: Friday, Jan. 22, 1:00 p.m. – 2:15 p.m. and Thursday, Jan. 27, 4:15 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.. These conversations will enable campus community members with diverse pandemic-era experiences to share with and listen to each other in open-ended discussion. If you think you’d like to join one of these conversations, email Molly Hiro at hiro@up.edu.
- Complete our survey, which will remain open until spring semester.
Thanks for considering any form of participation in our project, and stay tuned for more College after Covid news next semester.
