The Committee on Teaching and Scholarship (TAS) is pleased to announce that the Fall 2022 cycle for Butine Faculty Development grants is now open. Full-time faculty, instructors, lecturers, and librarians (at assistant, associate, and senior ranks) are eligible to apply. All applicants must have an appointment for next year to be eligible.
If you are expecting to apply for a Butine this Fall semester, please take note of the following deadlines and workshop information below.
By Friday, October 14
Submit your completed Butine application to Teaching and Scholarship via Moodle page and to your department chair and/or Dean.

Oct. 21 | Deadline for CAS Chairs to submit Butine Review form to Dean and TAS Chair |
Oct. 28 | Deadline for Deans to submit letters to TAS Chair |

The purpose of these sessions is to give tips and insights on ‘best practices’ for Butine grant submissions. We will also answer any questions you may have. Faculty new to the application process are particularly encouraged to attend.
