Join us on Wednesday, November 9, at 5 p.m. in the UP Bookstore for the book launch of Religion, Women of Color, and the Suffrage Movement, edited by Simon Aihiokhai of UP’s Theology Department. This work shines multiple lights on the intersectionality of religion, class, gender, beliefs, and culture as they shape women’s experiences, especially women of color. Faculty from diverse departments contributed essays to this volume, and they will offer highlights of their work, along with Aihiokhai’s insights into the overall project.
