Bon Appetit is sponsoring a community dinner in the Pilot House on October 19. A drawing will be held to choose the winners of the 18 available seats for this free meal. If you’re interested in taking a chance at winning a spot, you can submit an entry at the Pilot House. Winners will be announced on October 16. One entry per guest, please.
We will have spots for students, staff, and faculty and will also invite two members of the Holy Cross. We are unable to alter the menu to accommodate all dietary restrictions and allergies, however, we want to serve as many people as possible and will have vegan options available.
Our menu will be as follows:
Salad – Sauvie Island mixed greens with craisins, candied walnuts, pickled fennel, roast beets, Briar Rose Chevre, and an apple-pear vinaigrette
Main – Southern fried chicken
Vegan – Pan fried patty (brown rice, black bean, beet, eggplant, mushroom)
Sides – Collard greens, succotash, buttermilk biscuits
Dessert – Apple pie
