Blood donors are real heroes to recipients of transfusions—they literally save the lives of people they don’t even know. Blood donation takes about an hour, and donors can only give once every 56 days, but when they take the time to do so, it makes a real difference. Please join other heroes and donate blood in the Chiles Center Pilots Club area on Friday, June 19, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Donors are asked to register at http://tinyurl.com/pmhdk2r, and to enjoy iron rich foods and plenty of water to prepare for the appointment. Photo ID is required. Those who have traveled outside the country in the last 12 months or have lived abroad for five or more years must call 1-866-236-3276 to check eligibility.
