As we begin November, the Month of Remembrance, in which we remember all our loved ones who have gone before us, there are two special celebrations of note. In the Catholic Church, we celebrate All Saints Day and All Souls Day as important dates in which we pray for the dead.
To facilitate this prayer, Campus Ministry is offering Masses at the following times:
- November 1: All Saints Day
- 12:05 p.m. (with faculty memorial wreath blessing)
- 5:00 p.m.
- November 2: All Souls Day
- 10:30 a.m.
A reminder that All Souls Day on November 1 is a holy day of obligation for Catholics. Please do consider joining us in the Chapel of Christ the Teacher for our celebrations. As part of our Month of Remembrance, if you would like the names of your deceased loved ones placed before the altar, where we will pray for them at each Mass during the month, then please click the link here. We will place these names before the altar on November 1, and they will remain there throughout the Month of Remembrance.
