Casey Shillam, nursing, serves as a consultant and reviewer for “Competencies and Curricular Guidelines for Undergraduate Nursing Programs: Preparing Nurses to Care for the Seriously Ill and their Families,” an enhanced curriculum in palliative and end-of-life care for nursing schools. Recent grants from Cambia Health Foundation will expand the first wave of dissemination of the training curriculum throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Utah.

Rev. Thomas E. Hosinski, C.S.C., theology, had his article “Thomas Aquinas and Alfred North Whitehead on God’s Action in the World” published in Volume 1 of the new online journal Open Theology, which is supported by the De Gruyter publishing group. This article was originally presented as a paper at the 10th International Whitehead Conference, held at Claremont University, Claremont, California, June 4-7, 2015.
