Michael Cameron, theology, has produced an anthology, with extended general introduction, of sermons on the Psalms of the Bible by Saint Augustine of Hippo (d. 430). Entitled Essential Expositions of the Psalms by Saint Augustine, it was commissioned by the Augustinian Heritage Institute and published by New City Press of Hyde Park, N.Y.
Brian Doyle, marketing and communications, has three new books: How the Light Gets In (poems, from Orbis Books), Reading in Bed (literary essays, most of which appeared in The Oregonian, from Corby Books in Indiana), and So Very Much the Best of Us (spiritual essays, ACTA Publications).
Eduardo Contreras, Jr., studies abroad, has a peer-reviewed publication in the International Journal of Tourism Anthropology, titled “Beyond the Grand Tour: re-thinking the education abroad narrative for U.S. higher education in the 1920s.” The article appears in a special issue on “Tourism Discourse: Local and Global Perspectives,” 2015, Vol. 4, No. 3. Casey Shillam, nursing, has been invited to serve on the American Association of Colleges of Nursing’s (AACN) newly established Health Policy Advisory Council (HPAC). She will help to convene policy experts from AACN member schools who can provide strategic insights to guide the association in its development of an expanded policy portfolio surrounding current and emerging areas in health, healthcare, and higher education.
