John Orr, English, was one of three keynote speakers at the Northeast Asia International Language and Culture Annual Conference at Jilin University in Changchun, China. His topic was “Memory, Memorials, and the Literature of World War I.”

Larry Larsen, performing and fine arts, designed the scenery for Broadway Rose Theatre Company’s production of “Adrift in Macao,” which opens Friday, Sept. 25 and plays through October 25 at their theater in Tigard, Ore.
