Greetings, #UPTechtippers! This week I wanted to share an excellent tutorial/explainer video on using password management software. These lovely little applications serve multiple purposes:
- They remember your passwords and automatically plug them into websites and other apps so you don’t have to
- They can generate random, secure passwords (that you don’t even need to know)
- They sync your password securely across multiple devices or web browsers
The video covers a specific app, LastPass. This is the one I use and heartily recommend! So if you are feeling a little unsafe because you use the same password across many services, or you just feel overwhelmed trying to remember, keep track of, and accurately type all your passwords, this one is for you!
