It would be great if the time slots to reserve study rooms was in 30 min increments instead of hour long increments. Because class times sometimes end at weird times for example, 9:35 or 11:05.
So many study rooms are reserved without anyone showing up. A check in system would be nice, in order to allow those who are trying to get a room last minute to find one that is available due to a no-show.

Study Rooms should have their own temperature controls and not be connected to the central AC. It’s ridiculous and difficult to study when the heater is on and there is nothing you can do about it. I also don’t understand the point of the thermostats in the rooms if they don’t do anything.
We should have a coffee/ tea option in the library, weather it be just drip coffee, Keurig, or a full blown coffee bar. A vending machine that takes points would also be nice. It would be nice to have a few study rooms for individual study for those of us who need it to be quiet to study. Also the study rooms are connected to the adjacent rooms through a vent that allows all conversations to be heard.
The sign up for the study rooms is ridiculous. People reserve a study room every day for months ahead of time and many times don’t even go or do anything productive in the. You should not be able to reserve a study room over 2 weeks in advance.
