Have you ever seen those cool animated images on the internet and wondered if you could create one yourself? Well, wonder no more! At UP, we are fortunate to have access to Snagit, which is a great application for capturing, marking up and working with images from our computer screens. There are lots and lots of ways the ability to capture, manipulate and share images can be super useful for teaching and collaborating with peers. In today’s tip, learn how to capture motion and turn it in to an animated gif. Gifs are perfect for simple animations, to emphasize a particular aspect of a process, or just to inject some fun into your teaching/work.
If you are a UP employee and don’t have Snagit (or you need the new version that supports Gif creation), you can contact the UP Help Desk to get it installed on your work computer.
