What are WiBD’s mission/goals?
Mission – Cultivate tangible opportunities for women; unlock potential through accessible training. Act as a catalyst for advancement with thought leadership promotion, and empower equity allies of any gender with inclusive mentorship programming
What is WiBD currently working on?
The Data Science Varsity Mentoring program is specifically designed to advance technology skill development and technical leadership through data science contest participation for students at the University of Portland or Oregon State.
How can the UP community support WiBD?
UP student participation in Data Science Varsity to benefit from this program and help/volunteer to scale this program to a larger number of students in coming years.
