Partnership
The DataConnect Conference (DDC) and its affiliate events are managed by Women in Analytics (WIA). WIA’s mission is to increase visibility to the women making an impact in the analytics space and provide a platform for women to lead the conversations around the advancements of analytical research, development, and applications.
DataConnect West will be WIA’s first west coast event outside of their annual DataConnect Conference located in Columbus, Ohio. This new event is an opportunity to embrace WIA’s mission through expanding the opportunity for women to share their knowledge with aspiring analytics professionals and thought leaders.

The theme of DDC West is humAn Intelligence – a world of coexistence.
Knowingly or unknowingly, we are exposed to AI daily. We search for products and are recommended other items we may want to purchase; we speak to our voice assistant of choice and ask them to play the next song, or we are simply sitting on the couch trying to find our next favorite show on Netflix. AI’s co-existence has slowly crept into our lives and has now become harmonious to everyday actions.
Today, organizations cannot afford to not be on an AI journey. Each company may be at a different phase, but they have recognized this technology is the future and investments are absolute for long term sustainability.
This investment should not only take the technology into consideration but the people. As technology evolves, people must learn, grow and adapt to continuously coexist in a world of automation, prediction and simulation to improve our lives, organizations and the planet.
The AI opportunities are endless. However, endless opportunities will only result in value if our people understand the technology, we focus on the user experience and continuously rethink our business process so that we can handle the overwhelming transition to an AI future.
