What brought you to UP?
I decided to join UP because they genuinely care for an education that nurtures the students’ minds, hearts, and hands. In addition, Portland is a vibrant city that is welcoming different types of industries and sizes of businesses. This eclectic business scenario is particularly relevant for my research agenda and my academic profile development.
Why do you want to teach or UP’s Pamplin School of Business?
I am inspired by the efforts of PSOB to ensure that students acquire mastery of the 21st century skills. I want to work on an institution that favors learning experiences that support creativity, innovation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills using project-based schemes or/and 21st challenges.
What course will you be teaching?
I am going to teach two master degree courses, design management and brand design, on Summer II. During the academic year, I am going to teach the courses of innovation and design thinking at the undergraduate level.
Fun facts: I have worked and lived in five different continents. As a child, I was a chess champion. I started giving consultancy when I was a sophomore in the University.
