PGE’s Direct Access Operations group is seeking Freshman or Sophomore applicants interested in a paid, temporary, part-time (20 hours/week) summer administrative assistant role. Direct Access is involved in serving Electricity Service Supplies that provide transmission services to non-residential customers.
This role would be great for those students interested in learning about the electricity business and/or wanting to gain experience in a professional office setting. Given PGE’s company culture, a student would be able to organize coffee/lunch with individuals from departments of interest to them to learn more about the desired skills and internship/job opportunities in the company for the future.
Administrative Assistant I (20 hr/wk)
Work Location: 3 World Trade Center, Portland, OR
Job Type: Temporary
• Experience managing schedules in Outlook and setting up WebEx meetings.
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio), People Soft, and other software applications.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and highly organized.
• Typically entry level position requiring 6 months to 1 years of related experience.
• Basic knowledge of office administrative procedures and knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment.
