International Internship Opportunities with Amazon:
An Amazon master’s level summer internship is 10-12 weeks in duration (varies according to location) and consists of a strategic project that is data intensive, analytical, centered on a real business issue, and representative of the full-time role. Interns will have ownership of a high profile project, where they will partner with key business groups and clients. By participating in the internship program, you will have opportunities to analyze unique business ideas, make data driven decisions, and provide input to drive meaningful change. Each intern will have exposure to upper level management (including Vice Presidents and Directors) and the opportunity to apply general business and function specific skills to support successful execution of corporate strategies.
Finance Leadership Development Program: Through the FLDP, interns join Amazon as Sr. Financial Analysts (SFAs) and are given significant responsibility from the start to drive both business and financial decisions. SFAs are expected to evaluate and quantify new business ideas, execute controllership and reporting for their businesses, and perform data-intensive analyses, all to drive meaningful change and improvement in the way we serve our customers. International internship roles are available in China and Japan.
Pathways Operations Management: This internship is a project-based educational opportunity intended to prepare driven students for the full-time Pathways Program, Amazon’s highly sought after Operations Leadership Development Program. Interns will spend their internship in one of Amazon’s large and complex fulfillment centers or customer service locations. This is a chance to learn and understand leadership and project execution by working with experienced senior management as well as front line associates in some of the world’s largest fulfillment and customer support facilities. See operations strategy and process efficiency concepts come alive in a fast paced environment that showcases everything that goes on behind delivering the Amazon customer order and ensuring a high quality customer experience. International internship roles are available in Europe (UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, Czech Republic) and China.
Consumer Leadership Development Program: The full-time CLD role is a three year leadership development program with the goal of providing participants a path to Category Leadership at Amazon. In this program, participants rotate through two different functional areas such as Vendor Management, Instock Management, Marketing Management, Category Merchant Management and/or Retail Product Management within two distinct categories. This allows participants to complete the CLD program with an understanding of the key roles within retail and become effective general managers capable of leading large, complex organizations and solving large scale business challenges. CLDP interns will have ownership of a high profile project within one functional area and category of the Retail organization. International internship roles are available in Europe (UK, Luxembourg, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain), Japan, China, and Mexico.
Sr. Program Manager – Supply Chain and Transportation: Sr. Program Managers work across the organization to find solutions to complex problems within operations, supply chain and logistics. PGMs are given responsibility on their first day to own those business challenges and the autonomy to think strategically and make data driven decisions. They drive efforts, both independently and as part of larger project teams, and have significant impact on customer experience and the business. International intern roles are project-based and available in Europe (UK, Luxembourg).
