International Full-time Opportunities with Amazon:
Amazon’s MBA program exists to build a leadership pipeline for the organization. Master’s level students hired into Amazon are given ownership of large areas of opportunity and the autonomy to think strategically and make decisions that have a significant impact on our customers and our business.
Finance Leadership Development Program: FLDP is a three year leadership development program. Participants join Amazon as Senior Financial Analysts (SFAs) and are given significant responsibility from the start to drive both business and financial decisions. SFAs are expected to evaluate and quantify new business ideas, execute controllership and reporting for their businesses, and perform data-intensive analyses, all to drive meaningful change and improvement in the way we serve our customers. This full-time international role is available in Europe (UK, Luxembourg, France, Germany, Italy, Spain), China, and Japan.
Pathways Operations Management: This field-based three-year leadership program is for high potential graduates who are ready for challenges worthy of building Amazon’s next General Managers, Directors, and VPs. Through a series of intense, progressively challenging opportunities in the core of our elite operations network, we will stretch your leadership capacity to its full potential. The leadership lessons you learn and credibility you develop will benefit you over the rest of your career and quickly prepare you for effective executive leadership. Pathways hires start as Area Managers (leading 50-100 hourly associates) and subsequently become Operations Managers, where they lead other Area Managers. Graduation from the program includes promotion to Sr. Operations Manager. This full-time international role is available in Europe (UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, Czech Republic), and China.
Consumer Leadership Development Program: CLDP is a three year leadership development program with the goal of providing participants a path to a Category Leadership role at Amazon. In this program, participants rotate through two different functional areas such as Vendor Management, Instock Management, Marketing Management, Category Merchant Management and/or Retail Product Management within two distinct categories. This allows participants to complete CLD with an understanding of the key roles within retail and become effective general managers capable of leading large, complex organizations and solving large scale business challenges. This full-time international role is available in Europe (UK, Luxembourg, France, Germany, Italy, Spain), China, and Mexico.
Category Leader Development Program: Category Leaders works as general managers of a category, and need to have skills in vendor management, financial acumen and people management. In you first role, you will work as a Sr. Vendor Manager, identifying new brands and product business opportunities, owning strategic relationships with key vendors, negotiating competitive business terms, and defining and securing participation in promotions and marketing programs. After this, you will have the opportunity to manage a small team to gain experience in people management. This full-time international role is available in Japan.
Sr. Program Manager: Sr. Program Managers work across the organization to find solutions to complex problems within operations, supply chain and logistics. PGMs are given responsibility on their first day to own those business challenges and the autonomy to think strategically and make data driven decisions. They drive efforts, both independently and as part of larger project teams, and significant impact on customer experience and business. This full-time role is available in Europe (UK, Luxembourg).
Sr. Product Manager: Sr. Product Managers at Amazon invent new products and features on behalf of customers (merchants and consumers). PMs work cross-functionally to drive ideas from conception to execution, develop business models and marketing plans, define and analyze success metrics, manage strategic projects, and own the product end to end. PMs ultimately become general managers responsible for running large business segments and organizations. Examples of organizations where PMs may work include: Kindle, Seller Services (including Marketplace, Webstore, and Fulfillment by Amazon), Prime and Delivery Experience, and Logistics, and Traffic. This full-time role is available in Japan.
Graduate Programs: Amazon in Costa Rica offers diverse opportunities to graduates who would love to pursue their career in a very dynamic Customer Service organization. The opportunities available are in the following roles: Customer Service Manager, Customer Service Operations Manager, Continuous Improvement Manager, Human Resources Business Partner, Site Finance Controller, and Facilities Manager. These full-time positions are based in Costa Rica and require language proficiency in Spanish and English.
Basic Qualifications for Above Roles:
• Currently enrolled in MBA or equivalent master’s level program
• 3 years of industry or military work experience prior to master’s program
• Language proficiency in the local language is required for all roles in China, Japan, Mexico, and Costa Rica and for most roles within Europe
