M.A.R.S. Data Pipeline Proof of Concept

” I’ve gotten a simple proof of concept for piping commands to a virtual robot in Garry’s Mod from an external program. If we were to replace our current send and receive data to an Arduino code with this pipeline we could control motors and get much of the data our actual sensors will provide us….The robot in their was a quick 30 second design but an actual Rocker-Bogie design could be implemented with some more time. The white beam on the front is a range finder. Also, the video happens to take place on a mars-ish planet so that’s an added bonus of Garry’s mod. ”
