Two New Awards for the Pamplin School of Business
The Pamplin Business School is proud to announce that our Beta Alpha Psi Chapter has been recognized internationally as a Distinguished Chapter. Recognition as a Distinguished Chapter is a significant accomplishment. Under the leadership of Cecilia Lin, the University of Portland Chapter has far exceeded the baseline requirements of Beta Alpha Psi and has excelled in the areas of academics, professionalism, and leadership.
The University of Portland has also been recognized as an Honors Chapter by Beta Gamma Sigma under the leadership of Dr.Ross Hanig. The award was presented to Dean Anderson at the Western Association of Collegiate Schools of Business. “The Mission of the International Honor Society Beta Gamma Sigma is to encourage and honor academic achievement in the study of business, to cultivate and celebrate leadership and professional excellence, to advance the values of the Society, and to serve its lifelong members,” as described by Lynn Zoellner, Manager, Collegiate Relations, Beta Gamma Sigma Inc.
We are proud to be recognized by both distinguished societies and thank Dr. Cecilia Lin and Dr. Ross Hanig for their exemplary leadership and outstanding work with their students.
