Scott Jacobs, Pamplin School of Business’ Dean’s Advisory Board member for three years now and UP class of ’86 with a BA in Marketing/Management and an MBA from St. Thomas founded Jacobs Strategic Group in 2012, provides valued Business Advising and Career Coaching engagements.
What he’s doing Now
After his time on the bluff as a student athlete, he was engaged and has been married to Marti Pinkowski since 1987.
Scott had a successful career as an executive with over 25 years of leadership experience in Consumer Products, Fin Tech and SaaS Production Management.
As a Vice President of sales and marketing he has recruited hired and retained talent as he built out a number of successful sale and marketing organizations.
He has coached/prepared hundreds of clients for challenging career transitions and job searches, leveraging his strong network and hiring experience. Scott has a reputation for excellence and achievement in today’s vastly challenging dynamic market. His career has included companies such as Proctor and Gamble, Spalding Sporting Goods, K2 and Intuit.
