As I was thinking about posting about our awesome new library I realized I spend way too much time there, especially now that midterm season is upon us. What is Espresso UP you ask?
Espresso UP is a once a week activity on campus where the student government hires student baristas to make espresso drinks and Italian Sodas and then give them out to students for FREE! This is my favorite study break of the week. 1) It’s a free coffee of Italian Soda and 2) it’s a really great chance to meet up with friends and not think about schoolwork for a bit. My personal recommendation is a hazelnut latte or a cherry lime Italian Soda. During the holiday seasons they have flavors for coffee like peppermint mocha or pumpkin spiced latte.
Having said that, it feels like school is finally picking up! Senior year is definitely a balancing act of trying to study for classes and apply for the plethora of post-graduate opportunities out there! Sorry for this being a short blog post, but I should get back to studying. Next week we’ll talk about Fall Break plans!
