Welcome to the Pilot Space! University of Portland’s Student-Run Maker Space
The Pilot Space is a collaborative innovation hub located in the Shiley-Marcos Center for Design and Innovation. Staffed by students, the Pilot Space provides a plethora of tools and machines and a place where any student can receive hands-on learning outside of a traditional classroom setting. Come here to create something, take a workshop, or just to have a look around! This makerspace is open to any current student at the University of Portland.
Don’t be afraid to ask questions or ask the Pilot Space Assistants for help anytime, we’re here to help. If you’re unsure how to use a machine or if it’s the right tool for the job, and please tell us right away and we’ll point you in the right direction!
