2020–2021 FAFSA Available Now

The University of Portland Office of Financial Aid would like to remind you that the 2020 –2021 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) opened on October 1, 2019.  The FAFSA is required every year to determine eligibility for federal student aid including federal student and parent loans.  

Use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool (DRT) for Speedy and Accurate Completion

The 2020 –2021 FAFSA requires 2018 tax information when reporting student and family income. Please use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool to transfer your official IRS tax information to the FAFSA to reduce errors and speed up completion time. For help with using the IRS DRT, please reference our IRS DRT Help Sheet.
