On-campus housing is associated with better grades and other markers of college success. This is particularly important for students at UP, where many of our majors and areas of study involve academically rigorous junior and senior years.
Residence life is offering a $1,500 discount ($750 per semester) for juniors and seniors living in our traditional residence halls during the 2024-2025 academic year to promote and encourage their academic success and to help build community and tradition. This discount works for traditional hall room types including single/private rooms and suites, both of which are popular among our juniors and seniors. All halls with the exception of Haggerty & Tyson are considered ‘traditional’ residence halls.
Living in any of our residence halls means your student can focus on their education first. They don’t need to worry about commuting, off-campus safety, cooking, navigating various college and life-issues without the support of our 24/7 staff, and other challenges that often come with some less-than-helpful landlords.
