Lindsay Liewergen, MBA, Vice President Consumer Experience, Kaiser Permanente Northwest
Lindsay Liewergen (formerly Lindsay Radu) is a Pacific Northwest native, born and raised in Astoria, OR. Early in her career she worked in consumer products, where she became a Project Management Professional (PMP) and joined Kaiser Permanente in 2008 as a Project Manager in Revenue Cycle. From there, Lindsay shifted focus and joined care delivery as a Program Manager, and later Executive Consultant to the VP of Ambulatory Care, leading priority initiatives and achieving her Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.
In 2015, Lindsay was promoted to the role of Senior Director of Continuing Care Services, taking over a department in need of system-wide redesign. Over her tenure in this role, Lindsay led sweeping change that resulted in significant access, service and quality improvements in Hospice, Home Health, Palliative Care and Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF). Her position evolved into the role of Continuum of Care Administrator in 2019, tasked with weaving together care delivery, spanning multiple care settings to support a fully integrated care experience for the member. While in this role, Lindsay focused her time on true system integration – expanding healthcare beyond the traditional medical definition, to include social and behavioral integration. Lindsay completed her Baldrige Executive Fellowship, honing her leadership skills.
Lindsay assumed the role of Vice President, Consumer Experience, in 2021, a newly created position to improve the service and care experience, informed by member comments and best in class benchmarks. Lindsay is actively leveraging her systems-design thinking, operations experience, and steadfast consumer-centric focus in this role.
While not at work, Lindsay is an active participant on the University of Portland Executive Advisory Board, a position she has held since 2018.
In her personal life, Lindsay is busy caring for her son, Oliver, and playing with her French Bulldog, Phil.
