These four figures are found around campus – inside or outside, for better or for worse. No judgement here. Just the question, can anyone identify them? Sort of a trivia / treasure hunt tour of campus. Location anyone? Take a look, each tells a (forgotten) story from UP history.

the archivist says
YES – – to Fr. Connelly, CSC. Abstract II: Papa Sierra, or Jackknife Landscape II. Artist, Tom Morandi; location, Buckley Center grounds. Height, 4 feet.
Selected from an outdoor sculpture exhibit hosted by UP, acquired and installed in 1980 with funding from the Class Gift of 1980. . . . and seemingly, with approval from the Office of the President.
James Connelly, CSC says
Brother Raphael Wilson (UP President 1978-81) told me that he had reluctantly approved the sculpture “Abstract” in image 3. He ordered that it be placed in its current spot and when asked why, replied that no one would see it there.
