Resources for Students

There are lots of resources at UP in place to help make student video projects be the best they can be. The Digital Lab located on the second floor of the Clark Library is equipped with seven work stations loaded with iMovie and Adobe audio and video editing applications. Staff are available in the space to help you with your projects.

Students can also checkout the lab’s video cameras and tripods, sound recorders and microphones.  Workshops are offered at the beginning of each semester on how to use iMovie, Photoshop, and digital cameras.  The Digital Lab also has an Image Production Studio which includes includes studio lighting and several colored backdrops. The lab’s Audio Production Studio is a great location for recording a soundtrack or conducting interviews.

Lynda.com has many tutorials on video production including using editing software, lighting, making videos with mobile devices, sound, and many other aspects of creating videos.
