Spring break is the perfect time to put the final edits on your piece for the Kate Regan Short Film Festival. The new deadline for submissions is March 14, 2016. If you’re planning an adventure for spring break, don’t forget to bring back some footage and tell us all about it with a 3-minute short film! If you had a big adventure during winter break, think about turning some of it into an entry for the festival.
The Digital Lab is available for your use as you comb through footage and ponder over editing choices. Staff are there to help you with your project. It’s not too late to start from scratch even if you haven’t shot a single scene yet. You can still turn your idea into a short film.
The 2016 Kate Regan Short Film Festival will happen on March 31, 5-7 pm on the Quiet Side of the Commons. There will be popcorn! Raffle prizes! and lots of surprises! Plan to be there. Better yet, be part of it. Enter a piece of your own in the festival.
