Do you use a spreadsheet app like Microsoft Excel, Apple Numbers, or Google Sheets to track student grades? If so, did you know adding your grade information to Moodle is as easy as copying and pasting? It’s true!
The Moodle gradebook provides a transparent, private and secure way to share grades and feedback with students. I don’t have any hard data on this, but anecdotally, I know that students place a ton of value on being able to access Moodle at any time of day or night to find out where they stand in class. If you’re spreadsheet devotee, it’s well worth taking a few minutes periodically to load grades into your Moodle course.
