Neurodiversity-inclusive supervision

In July I had the privilege to attend part of the AHEAD conference in Portland. While there, I spoke with Adam Lalor, creator of a new model for supervision that’s more inclusive of neurodiverse employees: Universally-Designed Synergistic Supervision (UDSS). UDSS focuses on empathy & allyship, growth orientation, strengths, holism, and more.

In his words, “By employing UDSS, employers and supervisors stand to better align their professional and departmental values and goals using a more accessible, inclusive, and equitable supervisory approach. In turn, disabled professionals stand to receive supervision that is more tailored, holistic, and equitable, regardless of their decision to disclose their disability.” Interested?
