The University of Portland Pre-Law Society (UPPLS) is an undergraduate student-run organization interested in sustaining a dialogue on contemporary legal issues and in helping students pursue legal educations or careers.
We have our first event, a law panel, this Thursday, February 13th, at 5 pm in the Holy Cross Lounge in Franz Hall. The associate deans of Willamette University College of Law and Lewis & Clark’s Business Law Program will be speaking about law school including how to apply. Additionally, Steven Bell, a professor here at UP, as well as Amanda Nadell, deputy district attorney and University of Portland alum will be speaking about their experiences in law.
We hope that all students even entertaining the notion of attending law school, or who have an interest in law, will attend and listen to the advice and insights of these industry professionals.
Light refreshments will be provided (including cookies!) See you there!
