Spaatz Air Corp

Spaatz Air Corps (SAC) is a club that prepares cadets for the profession of arms through aviation-related activities, marksmanship training, and morale-boosting events. The mission of SAC is to build a community among the cadet wing through socials such as hikes, paintball, on-campus events, and anything you want to see! The club provides opportunities for cadets to grow as leaders for their careers as future officers in the Air Force or Space Force. SAC is the perfect way to socialize in a relaxed environment outside of school, and all you have to do to join is show up!

Spaatz Air Corps provides ground school training once per week for cadets interested in aviation. The purpose is to both explain the rated board selection process and give cadets a baseline knowledge of aviation they can build upon in their future training. Incentive flights will also be offered by cadets who have their private pilot license! Spaatz Air Corps at University of Portland Detachment 695 prepares cadets for a future in aviation in the World’s Greatest Air Force!
