Maya Struzak is a junior from San Jose, CA majoring in Civil Engineering. She is passionate about environmentalism, renewable energy, and global outreach. Outside of classes, she is president of the Global Engineering Initiative and an active member of the Human Powered Vehicle Design Club. Maya hopes to attend graduate school in a field related to environmental engineering and looks forward to using her engineering education to solve issues threatening the livelihood of the planet.
Jackson Kaye is Junior Civil Engineering student from Ketchikan, Alaska. He is passionate about environmentalism so is minoring in Environmental Engineering and taking on environmental research. Jackson is also the interim president of the Human Powered Vehicle Design Club at University of Portland. He hopes to start working as an environmental engineer as soon as he graduates in 2024.
