UP Faculty and staff are invited to attend an IGNITE Grants 2020 info session on November 22nd at 11:15 AM in Franz Hall RM. 33. The quick, 45-minute session will cover several topics including:
– Why you should apply
– Tips on interpreting the RFP
– Grant-writing strategies
– Other key steps
A Q& A session will include a former IGNITE grantee. If you’ve thought about applying, want to understand the IGNITE grant process, or want to learn more about grant-seeking in general, please join us on the 22nd. Light refreshments will be provided.
The deadline for submitting IGNITE grant applications is January 20, 2020, followed by an announcement of grant winners the following April 2020. An info session for seeking external grants will be offered during spring semester.
The IGNITE program seeks to fund fresh ideas and new approaches to program development and classroom experiences that impact the future of teaching and learning at UP.
