Stations of the Cross

Stations Of The Cross, Fridays During Lent

March 23, 2015

stationsAll are welcome to join Campus Ministry for the Stations of the Cross on Friday, March 27, at 4:30 p.m., in the Chapel of Christ the Teacher. Stations of the Cross is an ancient devotion of the Church in which Catholics walk through the events of the passion and death of Jesus Christ. It is an excellent opportunity to enter into Lent for Catholics and non-Catholics alike. Dates are March 20 and 27.

Campus Ministry has also partnered with alumni relations to offer a web-based presentation of the Stations of the Cross at http://tinyurl.com/b4qr8b4. The accompanying images take you on a virtual tour of the chapels on campus where the stations are displayed.

Campus Ministry Lenten Services

April 7, 2014

station_10Campus ministry and the Garaventa Center host Visio Divina each Wednesday during Lent at 12:45 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. in the Chapel of Christ the Teacher. All are welcome to spend time in contemplative prayer, focusing on beautiful images from the St. John’s Bible.

On Fridays during Lent, the Stations of the Cross are prayed at 4:30 p.m., in the Chapel of Christ the Teacher. This prayer walks participants through the story of Christ’s passion and crucifixion.

Founders’ Day Evening Prayer: a twenty minute immersion of scripture, psalms, and sacred songs to close the events of Founders’ Day in a spirit of gratitude and prayer. Please join us on Tuesday, April 8, at 4:30 p.m., in the Chapel of Christ the Teacher.
